In spite of propinquity of European football championship coming in about four months, Ukrainian receipting cities incur a deficit of hotel rooms for fans of the Tournament. Ukraine is going to resolve the problem of hotel accommodation of the Euro-2012 guests by means of building of special camping sites. One of them - under name of "Kiev Football Fans" will soon appear at the fringe of Kiev City.
Camping site for the tourists coming to Ukraine for the matches of the Continental Cup will be settled at the exit road from the capital - not far from subway station "Zhytomirskaya". A place in the camping site - including twin-bedded tent, sleeping pads and sleeping bags - will cost 615 UAH (about 60 EUROs) per night. At the territory of the site toilet and shower cabins will be equipped, as well as snack-bar and soft drinks bar. Optionally camping site's guests can use car parking and luggage room. Internet access is not provided at the territory of "Kiev Football Fans".
The camping site will be placed at the distance of 8,5 km from the central railway station of Kiev and 45 km from the main air gates of the country - Borispol airport. The distance to the National sports complex "Olympiysky" where the Final competition of Euro-2012 will take place is about 15 km.
It is worthy of note that the cost of overnight stay in camping sites of Kiev City often settled during international festivals and other usually do not exceed 130-150 UAH (12-14 EURO). As for "Kiev Football Fans", the price will be five times as much. As the experts predict for the period of Euro-2012 the prices in receiving cities will arise for all types of housing, though.
The costs for hostels in Kiev will not make happy the guests of the Championship either. They will be extremely high in those mini-hotels which will be specially built for the tournament. As the real estate market experts state, the enterprising citizens already buy the whole floors and many-roomed flats in the houses neighboring to National sports complex "Olympiysky", to convert them afterwards into hostels for Euro-2012 fans.
According to the experts, 7-roomed flat in that region costs about 3,5 million UAH (340 thousands EUROs), and that's why the owners will have to force up prices for hostels to provide reimbursement. At the present time the overnight stay in the hotels of such type in the center of Kiev costs about 100-150 UAH (9-14 EUROs), during the championship the cost will admittedly increase up to 500-700 UAH (45-65 EUROs) per night. At the same time, it's worth saying that in other countries for the period of European championship the housing used to rise in price maximum twice as much.
However the quality of services will not disappoint the guests of such mini-hotels. All the new-organized hostels will meet all the essential international requirements. Besides the rooms with beds, there will be shower stalls, washing machines, kitchen with a frigde, cooker, microwave oven, and also common room for rest with plasma TVset and wireless Internet access.
